Overview
The Whitecheek Tang ranges in color from medium gray to black and has a white blotch underneath each eye. There is also white along the mouth and yellow highlights the tip of each fin.
It requires plenty of swimming room and live rock to graze on. While it will be peaceful towards most tankmates, it will be aggressive towards other tangs or surgeonfish and should be the only one in the tank.
Although it will eat meaty preparations, it should have plenty of seaweed and marine algae in its diet to ensure proper health.
