The Siam Tiger Barb, also known as the Barbus partipentazona or Systomus partipentazona is rarely seen in the aquarium hobby despite being relatively common in nature.
This Barb is an ideal resident for a community aquarium and a group of at least 8-10 specimens should be considered because if forms loose hierarchies, with males battling for female attention and hierarchical position within the group.
