These beautiful fish possess strong spots that fade as they age and as a bigger minnow loves the open water. The fins of this species show a lot of paper white trim. Adult males get a metallic gold sheen along their lower jaw that runs onto the chest area, lending a nice contrast to body, which depending on the light, can strongly show a green chrome sheen over a silver blue background.
