Adorned with iridescent, jewel-like spots, the deep metallic blue body of the Celestial Pearl Danio imparts a breathtaking quality of a clear, starlit night. Though diminutive in size, the Celestial Pearl Danio is truly a majestic addition to freshwater aquariums.Because of its small size and peaceful nature, the Celestial Pearl Danio does best in a peaceful community aquarium or a well-planted aquarium of at least 10 gallons. To best recreate the natural habitat of the Celestial Pearl Danio, provide rocks, driftwood, and ample plant cover. The Celestial Pearl Danio should be kept in a small school consisting of 6 individuals. Ideal tankmates include peaceful fish, such as other danio species.
