Splendid Dwarf Cichlid.
This is a small fish, no larger than two inches, comes from the Congo river basin in Africa. It has a sleek appearance and many of them have a reddish coloration to its ventral fin although sometimes this hue appears in the mid-body towards the ventral part of the fish. Their scales are remarkable because they are reflective with pastel and emerald colors. It is sometimes referred to as the "Jewel of the Congo".
