Pelvicachromis taeniatus "Lokoundje." A stunning West African dwarf cichlid known for its vibrant coloration and peaceful temperament. Males display brilliant red, yellow, and blue hues, while females show a deep purple belly when in breeding condition. These fish thrive in soft, slightly acidic water with plenty of hiding spots. They are cave spawners and make excellent parents, often raising fry in community tanks. Perfect for planted aquariums and peaceful community setups with other small, non-aggressive species.
