Barbonymus altus.
Unique appearance due to the red color of its ventral and tailfins but excluding the dorsal fin. There is also a golden or bronze hue to the body color.
It should not be confused with the Tailfin Barb which is a different species with a similar but different generic name of Barbonymus schwanenfeldii. The latter is known for its black stripes on the caudal/tail fin. The body color is more silvery than the Barbonymus altus.
